Our Vision
A continent where nursing leads the future of healthcare.
Every nurse practising with full recognition. Every patient cared for by qualified hands. African nursing taking its place at the policy table, the bedside, and the global stage.
African Nursing Activists is an independent, pan-African movement strengthening the role of nursing across the continent. We advance the profession, influence healthcare policy, and protect the integrity of nursing practice.
Our Vision
Every nurse practising with full recognition. Every patient cared for by qualified hands. African nursing taking its place at the policy table, the bedside, and the global stage.
Our Mission
We organise nurses, midwives and students; we advocate for the standards, recognition and protections the profession is owed; and we hold ground against quackery, mis-titling and the erosion of nursing's integrity.
How we work
We organise on the things that actually move the profession forward, from policy and recognition to patient protection and continental community.
Advocacy
Protecting the Nurse title. Pushing for the policy frameworks, licensure and protections every African nurse deserves.
